CSU researching hemp in hidden test plot

ORTEZ (AP) – Hemp being grown by Colorado State University in southwest Colorado is tucked into a crop of corn at a secret location, but farmers interested in hemp can still ask for a tour.

The Cortez Journal reports the experiment testing 12 varieties of industrial hemp has permission from the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
