25 Years of Pharmaceutical Devastation Reversed by Cannabis

“I was a patient that really could not be treated by western medicine. I learned to walk and talk again three different times, but I never saw any improvement in my condition. It was an endless cycle, until, of course, I was introduced to cannabis!” –Debbie Wilson[1]

Twenty-five years ago, Debbie Wilson was struck down in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant by a clueless driver in a pick-up truck. Upon impact, she was knocked to the ground head first and then as if to “finish it off” the driver inadvertently backed up over her.[2]

This was the beginning of Debbie’s long, painful journey into unbearable despair and helplessness. Initially, she struggled with common traumatic brain injury symptoms like: forgetfulness, migraines, nightmares, time distortion, depression, paranoia, anxiety and balancing problems. Slowly her suffering morphed into a catalog of ills including: PTSD, seizures, Alzheimer’s, chronic depression, anxiety and type 2 diabetes. A cocktail of pharmaceuticals proved ineffective and caused numerous deleterious side effects including damage to her intestines and other organs…….

Yet, it wasn’t until Debbie began to orally ingest a non-psychoactive cannabis medicine or “NeuroEnhancer” (22% CBD 1% THC oil) along with a high-THC strain for her epilepsy that she really started experiencing the miraculous healing benefits of cannabis.[2]

Debbie was astounded at the results after using oral cannabis. She said, “I know for a fact that I’m now accessing file drawers in my memory bank that were shut for more than 20 years.”[2]

I will just say that I tried and failed on 19 different pharmaceutical drugs. I’ve been a brain injury survivor for 25 years; I’ve tried everything there is. My doctors gave me megadoses of seizure medications. A medication that was normally prescribed to take 900mg… I was prescribed to take 4800mg a day.”(…) They thought perhaps a higher dosage would control my condition better, but in fact it just ended up causing more damage. —Debbie Wilson

Debbie recalls that when she was loaded up on pharmaceuticals she was literally a walking zombie. She was totally numbed out from the anti-depressants she was on. It’s as if she were living in a bubble where she could see out but couldn’t react to anything she saw in real time or at any time for that matter. Emotionally and mentally she was restrained 24/7 in an invisible chemical straightjacket. Her very soul was on ice; she was lost in a blizzard of chemical drugs.
